Bleeding Heart Plant Crochet Leaf
Please go to previous post for the Bleeding Heart Flower pattern. The following pattern is for the plant's leaf to use in combination with the flower pattern by anybody who would like to create the full plant.
How to Crochet a Bleeding Heart Plant Leaf?

Crochet Yarn
- Embroidery cotton (6strands) colour A = green.
Crochet Hook
- 1.75 mm steel hook.
Details of components
- compound leaf with 3 leaflets.
Crochet Leaf Pattern
Middle Leaflet (only half of it)
Start: using colour A make 21ch,
R1: skip 1st ch, make 1 sl st, 1sc, 1hdc, 8dc, 9sc, make 3ch pivot and continue on the other edge of chs with 15sc, 1ch, turn,
R2: make 1 sl st, 11sc, skip the 5sc, 1ch, turn
Right Hand Side Leaflet
R1: make 4sc, skip the rest and continue with 8ch
R2: skip 1st, 1 sl st, 6sc, turn, continue with 4sc down the leaf and 3dc joining with the middle leaflet, 1ch, turn
R3: 11sc, 1ch, turn
R4: 1sl st, 2sc, 1sl st, 4ch, skip 1st ch, make 1sl st, 2sc, 7hdc, 6dc in the 3ch at bottom of middle leaflet (see R1 middle leaflet) and we continue with the second half of the Middle Leaf: 15sc, 1ch, turn
R5: make 8sc, skip the rest and continue with
Left Hand Side Leaflet
R1: 8ch, skip 1st ch make 1sl st, 6sc and continue with 3dc joining with the middle leaflet, 1ch, turn
R2: 8sc, 1ch, turn
R3: 4sc, 4ch, skip the 1st ch, make 1 sl st, 2sc, 4hdc, 3dc to join with the middle leadflet, join with sl st in the first dc from the 6dc group. Fasten off.
