CROCHET PATTERNS (Pattern #52 Japanese Anemone) – 365 Flowers Bouquet Project

Flower of the day is a Japanese Anemone inspired by a photograph taken by Maria from Ravelry. It is my second anemone design, but I couldn’t resist the challenge. The flower in the photo is so beautiful. I wish for the pattern to resemble just half of its beauty. The plant, also known as Anemone hupehensis or windflower is native of China and has been naturalized in Japan for centuries. The anemones don’t have true petals, the showy portion of the bloom, white, pink or red colour are actually the sepals.

If you are familiar with Ravelry and you’d like to have a go at my patterns, join us at 365 Crochet Flowers Bouquet on Ravelry. I can only imagine that some might have trouble with following the instructions on the more complex patterns. And I know… my instructions can be a bit brief… Time can be such an obstacle.
